Accident Settles With Geico Insurance

LM was involved in a motor vehicle accident on July 1, 2011 in Muscogee County, Georgia after a driver failed to maintain a proper lookout and negligently failed to maintain control of the vehicle. After this collision my client, LM required medical attention.  Dr. Anthony Detractor of Open Arms Medical Arts saw her.  LM presented with complaints of pain in her neck, back, and knee. LM was given prescriptions for the sustained injuries. She was on these medicines for approximately 30 days.  Upon discharge, LM was instructed to rest and to take the prescribed medications.  She was also advised to seek follow up medical care for the injuries sustained.  LM continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries.  Dr. Brad Brunet of South Atlanta Spine and Wellness also saw her.  LM had continued to suffer from pain in her neck, back, and knee.  Dr. Brunet diagnosed her with multiple back injuries, sprains, and sciatica. Dr. Brunte found that LM had reduced range of motion in her neck and back. She was prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat her symptoms.  The goal of this physical therapy was to increase the range of motion, decrease pain, and aid the muscles and ligaments in healing.  After treatment, we settled the case against Geico Insurance.
