DB was involved in a motor vehicle accident May 1, 2011 in Fulton County, Georgia. After this collision, DB required medical attention. He was transported via ambulance to the emergency room of Grady Memorial Hospital. At the Emergency Room, he was examined by the emergency room physician. DB presented with complaints of pain in right arm. He was diagnosed as having right arm pain. DB was given prescriptions for the sustained injuries. He was on these medicines for approximately 30 days. DB continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries. Following the emergency room physician's advice, he sought further medical care. DB was seen by Dr. Marva Crosby of South Atlanta Medical. He had continued to suffer from pain in his head, neck, and back. Dr. Crosby found that DB had reduced range of motion in his neck and back. He was prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat his symptoms. The goal of this physical therapy was to increase the range of motion, decrease pain, and aid the muscles and ligaments in healing. The claim was settled against Georgia Mutual Insurance once DB completed her treatment.
