Automobile Injuries - Claim Successful for February Wreck

Sherika Birdsong was involved in a motor vehicle accident on February 13, 2010 in Troup County.  After this collision, Sherika required immediate medical attention and was transported via ambulance to the emergency room of West Georgia Medical Center where she presented with complaints of low back pain. She was diagnosed with an acute myofascial lumbar strain and was given a prescription for her injuries.

Upon discharge, she was instructed to rest, take the prescribed medications and seek follow-up medical care. Sherika continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries. She sought care from Dr. Cosper of Cosper Chiropractic. She had continued to suffer from constant headaches, lower back and neck pain. The diagnosis by Dr. Cosper included: cervical sprain/strain, headaches, thoracic sprain/strain, and lumbar sprain/strain. Additionally, Dr. Cosper found that Sherika had reduced range of motion in her neck and lower back. He prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat her symptoms.
