Jonas was involved in a motor vehicle accident on April 7th, 2009 in Baldwin County Georgia.
Jonas was traveling south on South Elbert Street when another vehicle pulled out in front of him. Both vehicles collided and both drivers sustained injuries.
Jonas was taken to Oconee Regional Medical Center for complaints of neck pain and mid back pain, and he was diagnosed with having cervical strain/pain and mid back strain/pain. He was given medications for his injuries and advised to follow up with a chiropractor for further treatment.
Jonas was seen at Healing Hands chiropractic for treatment. There he had complaints of pain in his shoulders, mid back, and neck. He was diagnosed with having cervical and lumbar subluxations, muscle spasms, and hyperesthesia. He was prescribed physical therapy for treatment. Jonas continued to have pain, and he was seen at Dr. Jones’ office for treatment. He had complaints of pain in his neck, shoulder, and arm. Jonas was diagnosed with having flexion-extension injury to the cervical spine and left rotator cuff tendinitis. He was prescribed medications for his injuries as well as sent to the Imaging Center for a cervical spine MRI. The Imaging Center found that Jonas had a right-sided disc protrusion of C6/C7. He was told to continue treatment at Healing Hands Chiropractic.
Once Jonas was completely pain free, we settled the case against Amica Mutual Insurance Company.
