Case Settled Against Progressive

BK was involved in a motor vehicle accident on April 5, 2011 in Muscogee County, Georgia. Our client was hit when the other driver failed to maintain a proper lookout and control of the vehicle. After the collision, BK required medical attention.  At the Emergency Room, the emergency room physician examined him.  BK presented with complaints of pain in his neck and back.  He was diagnosed as having back pain. BK continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries.  BK later sought follow up medical care. BK was seen by Dr. Brad Brunet of South Atlanta Spine and Wellness.  He had continued to suffer from pain in his head, neck, and back. Dr. Brunet diagnosed him with headaches, back pain, and multiple strains. Dr. Brunet also found that BK had reduced range of motion in his neck and back. He was prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat his symptoms.  The goal of this physical therapy was to increase the range of motion, decrease pain, and aid the muscles and ligaments in healing.  The claim was settled against Progressive once BK completed his treatment.
