Claim Settles Against Hallmark Insurance

SC was involved in a motor vehicle accident on July 31, 2011 in Troup County, Georgia when another vehicle failed to back out properly and maintain control of the vehicle. After this collision, SC required medical attention.  He was transported via ambulance to the emergency room of West Georgia Medical Center.  At the Emergency Room, the emergency room physician examined him.  SC presented with complaints of pain in his low back.  He was diagnosed as having acute myofascial strain. Upon discharge, SC was instructed to rest and to take the prescribed medications.  He was also advised to seek follow up medical care for the injuries sustained.  SC continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries.  Following the emergency room physician's advice, he sought further medical care.  Cosper Chiropractic Clinic saw SC.  He had continued to suffer from lower back pain.  Dr. Cosper diagnosed him with lumbar sprain/strain. Dr. Cosper found that SC had reduced range of motion in his back. He was prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat his symptoms.  The goal of this physical therapy was to increase the range of motion, decrease pain, and aid the muscles and ligaments in healing. After treatment, we setled the claim with Hallmark Insurance.
