Julio was involved in a motor vehicle accident on September 19th, 2008 in Cobb County Georgia.
Julio was stopped on Ward Street at a traffic light preparing to turn left onto Windy Hill Road when another vehicle ran a red light and ran into the side of Julio’s car. Julio sustained injury from this accident and was taken to Wellstar Cobb Hospital for treatment. He had complaints of pain in his head, neck, and back, and was diagnosed with having cervicalgia, backache, and headaches. Once he was discharged, he was advised to seek further medical help if pain persists.
Julio continued to have pain and was seen at Northwest Medical Clinic for treatment. He had complaints of pain in his neck, upper and lower back, shoulders, right hip and leg pain, and mid-sternal chest pain. He was diagnosed with having cervical strain, thoracic strain, lumbosacral strain, left shoulder strain, chest contusion, headaches, and dizziness. Julio was prescribed physical therapy and told to follow up with an MRI. Julio followed up with East Cobb MRI Center for an MRI and treatment to his injuries. He had complaints of arm pain and neck pain, and was diagnosed with scoliosis and multilevel degenerative change. Julio was referred to Pavilion Spine Surgery Center for treatment of his injuries. He had complaints of pain in his neck and shoulder area, and he was diagnosed with having cervical facet syndrome. He was given a facet joint block to help relieve the pain.
Julio was told to continue with physical therapy treatment, continue taking pain medications, and to consider having more facet joint blocks in cervical spine area.
Once Julio felt completely pain free we settled the case against State Farm Insurance Company.
