Suzanne was involved in a motor vehicle accident on April 14, 2011 in Coweta County Georgia. Suzanne was driving south on State Route 54 just past Neely Road. The vehicle in front of her slowed down to take a right into their driveway. She slowed all the way down to a complete stop for the person to turn. Before she could proceed, another vehicle that happened to be distracted while driving slammed into the back of her vehicle. After the collision, Suzanne required medical attention. She was examined by Dr. Donald Griffin of Piedmont Physicians Group and diagnosed as having back pain and acute pharyngitis. Suzanne was given prescriptions for the sustained injuries. Upon discharge, she was instructed to rest and to take the prescribed medications and seek follow up medical care for the injuries she sustained. Following physician's advice, she sought further medical care by Dr. Matthew Davis of Crossroad Chiro. She had continued to suffer from pain in her neck, back, and her ankle. She was diagnosed with cervical segmental dysfunction, cervicalgia, thoracic segmental dysfunction, thoracalgia, lumbosacral segmental dysfunction, lumbalgia, and ankle/foot pain. Dr. Davis found that she had reduced range of motion in her neck and back and prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat her symptoms. Dr. Anne Wiskind of Peachtree Gynecology also saw Suzanne. She had continued to suffer from pain in her pelvic area. Dr. Wiskind diagnosed her with pelvic pain and muscle spasms. Once she was done treating, settled the claim against Geico Insurance.
