Douglas County Accident Settles

MM was involved in motor vehicle accident on August 15, 2011 in Douglas County, Georgia when another vehicle followed too closely. After this collision my client, MM required medical attention.  He was transported via ambulance to the emergency room of Wellstar Cobb Hospital.  At the Emergency Room, the emergency room physician examined him.  MM presented with complaints of pain in his neck and back.  He was with back strains.  MM was given prescriptions for the sustained injuries. He was advised to seek follow up medical care for the injuries sustained.  MM continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries.  Following the emergency room physician's advice, he sought further medical care.  MM was seen by Dr. Jeremy Broe of Peachtree Center Rehab.  He had continued to suffer from pain in his neck and back. Dr. Broe diagnosed him with multiple strains in his back and neck. Dr. Broe found that MM had reduced range of motion in his neck and back. Dr. Broe prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat his symptoms.  The goal of this physical therapy was to increase the range of motion, decrease pain, and aid the muscles and ligaments in healing.  The claim was settled against State Farm Insurance once MM completed her treatment.
