Brittanie was involved in a motor vehicle accident caused by a drunk driver on December 11, 2011 in Fulton County Georgia. Dr. Shevin Pollydore of Peachtree Orthopedic Clinic found Brittanie to have reduced range of motion in her hips, neck, and back. She began a conservative program of physical therapy to improve her injuries. Dr. Eric Plotnick of Ear, Nose, and Throat Associates diagnosed her with dysphonia and benign neoplasm of the larynx. She suffered serious injuries that affected her voice. Dr. Carissa Maira of the Emory Clinic also treated Brittanie. Dr. Maira found vocal nodules in her vocal chords. Our client began going through voice therapy. After the accident, our client suffered from post-traumatic stress and treated with Dr. Terry Orme of Clinical Associates. Once she was feeling better, we settled the case against State Farm Insurance.
