Isaac Figueroa was involved in a motor vehicle accident on April 21, 2010 in Troup County while traveling on West Lukken Industrial Road when another vehicle pulled out in front of him causing a front end collision. Requiring immediate medical attention, Issac was transported to the emergency room of West Georgia Medical Center. He presented with complaints of back pain, was diagnosed with acute myofascial back strain, and was also given a prescription for the injuries he sustained during the collision. Upon discharge he was instructed to rest and take all medications as prescribed. Issac continued to suffer pain from his injuries and he sought treatment from Dr. Robert Calhoun of Calhoun Chiropractic. Dr. Calhoun diagnosed Issac with cephalgia, lumbar facet, cervico-brachial syndrome, and cervical radiculitis. Further, Dr. Calhoun found that Isaac had reduced range of motion in his neck thereby requiring a conservative program of physical therapy to treat his symptoms.
After therapy and as Issac’s symptoms improved, our firm successfully settled the claim on his behalf against Allstate Insurance Company.
