Fulton County, GA accident struck from behind causing 3 car collision; lawyer settles claim

Rita was involved in a motor vehicle accident on May 29^th, 2009 in Fulton County, Georgia. Rita was sitting at a stop light when another car struck her from behind causing her to hit the vehicle in front of her.

After this collision, Rita required medical attention.  She was transported via ambulance to the emergency room of South Fulton Medical Center.  Rita presented with complaints of pain in neck.  She was diagnosed as having acute cervical myofascial strain and acute back pain.  Rita was given prescriptions for the sustained injuries.

Upon discharge, she was instructed to rest and take prescribed medications.  Rita was also advised to seek follow up medical care for the injuries sustained. Following the South Fulton Medical Center physician's advice, Rita sought further medical care.  Rita was seen by Bertrand Chiropractic Center.  Rita continued to suffer from neck pain and back pain.  The physician diagnosed the following conditions: Cervical sprain/strain, thoracic sprain/strain, lumbar subluxation, muscle spasms, and cervical degeneration. Rita also followed up with a visit to MRI & Imaging of Georgia. There she had MRIs taken of her thoracic spine, cervical spine, and brain.

 After months of treatment, the case was settled with State Farm Insurance Company.
