Georgia Resident injured in Alabama - Claim Settled!

Melissa Barringer was involved in a rear-end motor vehicle accident on January 16, 2009 in Russell County, Alabama. After the wreck, Melissa required medical attention. She was transported via ambulance to the emergency room of Saint Francis Hospital. Melissa presented with complaints of pain in her low back and she was eventually diagnosed as having lumbar strain. She was given prescriptions for the sustained injuries and was advised to seek follow-up care.  She sought treatment from Dr. Jay Brodwyn of Clinicare in Columbus. Melissa continued to suffer from pain in both her low and mid back. Dr. Brodwyn diagnosed her with cervical strain/sprain, thoracic strain/sprain, lumbar strain/sprain, and displacement of her cervical spine. Further, Dr. Brodwyn found that Melissa had reduced range of motion in her neck and back and recommended a conservative program of physical therapy to help alleviate her symptoms.
