Josephine Parham was involved in a motor vehicle accident on March 10, 2010 in Troup County. Requiring medical attention after the collision, Josephine was transported to the emergency room of West Georgia Medical Center where she presented with complaints of headaches and with pain in her neck. She was diagnosed as having acute myofascial strain. Josephine was given prescriptions for the sustained injuries and was also advised to seek follow up medical care for the injuries sustained. Josephine continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries. She was seen by Cosper Chiropractic. Josephine continued to suffer from neck, arm, leg and back pain. Dr. Cosper diagnosed the following conditions: cervical sprain/strain, wrist/hand radiculitis, thoracic sprain/strain, and lumbar sprain/strain. Also Dr. Cosper found Josephine had reduced range of motion in her neck and back and subsequently diagnosed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat her symptoms.
Once Josephine’s pain subsided, we were able to successfully settle the claim against State Farm Insurance Company.
