Robert Kelly was involved in a motor vehicle accident on February 26, 2009 in Braselton, Georgia. After this collision my client required medical attention. He was transported to the emergency room of Concentra Medical Center where he was examined by the attending physician. Robert presented with complaints of pain in his head, numbness and coldness of arms, legs, feet, and hands. He was diagnosed as having cervical radiculopathy, cervical strain, lumbar strain, and trapezius strain. He was given prescriptions for his injuries. Upon discharge from the emergency room, Robert was instructed to rest and take the prescribed medication for approximately 30 days. Further, he was advised to seek follow up medical care. Robert continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries. Following the advice of the physician at Concentra Medical, Robert sought further medical care. He was seen by the physician at Tomah Memorial Hospital. Robert continued to suffer from back pain and headaches. Tomah Memorial Hospital diagnosed him with the following: cervicalgia, lumbago, and headaches. At the advice of the Tomah Memorial Hospital physician, Robert sought further medical care and was seen by St. Michael's Hospital. He continued to suffer and was diagnosed by a St. Michael’s physicians with neck and low back pain as well as headaches. Robert was given prescriptions which he took for approximately 30 days. Further and upon discharge, he was advised to rest and to seek follow-up medical care. Robert continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries. Following the advice of the St. Michael's physician, Robert sought further medical care and was later seen by Aspirus Doctors Clinic who also diagnosed him with neck and low back pain. He continued to suffer pain from the injuries related to the February accident. Based on their advice, Robert received care from the Aspirus Wausau Hospital. With continued neck and back pain, the hospital diagnosed him with chronic neck pain and right upper extremity radiation with a rightward C6-7 disc bulge and chronic low back pain. Taking the physician’s advice from Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Robert once again sought additional treatment. He was seen by Rice Medical Center as he continued to suffer from neck and head pain. Rice Medical Center diagnosed him with headaches, cervicalgia, other convulsions, dizziness, and giddiness.
The combined efforts of the physicians involved helped Robert regain his health and once he was feeling better, our firm was able to settle the claim against ACE USA Insurance company.
