Muscogee Woman Hurt After Vehicle Runs Red Light

Dominique was involved in a motor vehicle accident on November 2^nd, 2010 in Muscogee County Georgia. She was a passenger in a vehicle traveling through a green stop light when another vehicle coming from a different direction, ran straight through a red light striking Dominique's car she was in. After this collision, she required medical attention.    At the Emergency Room, she was examined by the emergency room physician and diagnosed as having abdominal pain, acute abdominal contusion, acute chest contusion, and acute cervical strain.  Upon discharge, Dominique was instructed to rest and to take the prescribed medications and to seek follow up medical care for the injuries sustained. Following the emergency room physician's advice, Dominique sought further medical care and was seen by Dr. Brunet of South Atlanta Medical Rehabilitation‑Fayetteville.  Dr. Brunet diagnosed her with cervicalgia, low back pain, and thoracic sprain/strain. Dr. Brunet found that she had reduced range of motion in her neck and back and prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat her symptoms.  Once she was feeling better, we settled the claim against Geico Insurance Company.
