Passenger Rear-Ended Settles Claim

RD was involved in a motor vehicle accident on March 31, 2011 in Henry County, Georgia. He was a passenger in a vehicle that was rear-ended. After this collision, RD required medical attention.  At the Emergency Room, he was examined by the emergency room physician.  RD presented with complaints of pain in his neck, back, and knee. He was diagnosed as having knee contusion and back pain. RD continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries.  Following the emergency room physician's advice, he sought further medical care.  RD was seen by Dr. Brad Brunet of South Atlanta Medical.  He had continued to suffer from pain in his neck, back, and knee.  Dr. Brunet diagnosed him with knee and multiple back strains. Dr. Brunet found that RD had reduced range of motion in his neck and back. He was prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat his symptoms.  The goal of this physical therapy was to increase the range of motion, decrease pain, and aid the muscles and ligaments in healing.  The claim was settled against USSA Insurance once RD completed treatment
