LB was involved in a motor vehicle accident June 27, 2011 in Muscogee County, Georgia. After this collision my client, LB required medical attention. At the Emergency Room, the emergency room physician examined her. LB presented with complaints of pain in her neck and back. She was diagnosed as having neck strains. Upon discharge, LB was instructed to rest, to take the prescribed medications, and seek follow up care. LB continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries. Following the emergency room physician's advice, she sought further medical care. LB was seen by Dr. Brad Brunet of South Atlanta Medical Rehabilitation. She had continued to suffer from pain in her head, neck, shoulder, and back. Dr. Brunet found that LB had reduced range of motion in her neck and back. She was prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat her symptoms. The goal of this physical therapy was to increase the range of motion, decrease pain, and aid the muscles and ligaments in healing. The claim was settled against State Farm Insurance once LB completed her treatment.
