Settlement reached with State Farm for Cobb County Motorist

Le'Trece Woods was involved in a motor vehicle accident on December 18, 2009 in Cobb County, Georgia.  Ms. Woods was stopped at a traffic light on Barrett Parkway when another vehicle stuck her from behind causing Ms. Woods to hit the car in front of her.  After the collision, she required medical attention and was transported via ambulance to Henry Medical Center.  Ms. Woods presented with complaints of pain in her head and was subsequently diagnosed with a concussion and neck sprain.  Ms. Woods was given prescriptions for injuries sustained and was also advised to seek follow-up medical care.  Ms. Woods continued to suffer pain from the injuries sustained. She was seen by Dr. David Hall at Fairview Chiropractic Center.  With continual neck pain, Dr. Hall diagnosed cervical subluxations, cervical radiculagia as well as myospasms.  Due to a limited range of motion and Ms. Wood's continued migraines, neck and head pain Dr. Hall prescribed a conservative program of physical rehabilitation. Ms. Woods sought further medical care and was seen by neurologist, Dr. Joseph Saba.  Dr. Saba diagnosed Ms. Woods with a closed head injury, post traumatic migraines, intermittent post traumatic blurred vision, and severe soft tissue injury to her neck.  She was advised to continue the prescribed medications and continue physical therapy. Our office was able to settle the case against State Farm once the victim, Ms. Woods, began to feel better.
