Tameka was involved in a motor vehicle accident on May 2, 2011 in Troup County Georgia. Tameka was a passenger in a vehicle that was rear ended while sitting at a traffic light. After this collision, Tameka required medical attention. At the Emergency Room, she was examined by the emergency room physician and diagnosed as having acute myofascial cervical strain. Tameka was given prescriptions for the sustained injuries. Upon discharge, she was instructed to rest and take the given prescriptions. She was also advised to seek follow up medical care. Following the emergency room physician's advice, she sought out the help of Dr. Steven Cosper of Cosper Chiropractic Clinic. She had continued to suffer from neck and back pain. Dr. Cosper diagnosed her with headaches, cervical sprain/strain, thoracic sprain/strain, and lumbar sprain/strain. Dr. Cosper found that she had reduced range of motion in her neck and back. She was prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat her symptoms. Once she was feeling better, we settled against State Farm Insurance.
