Vondeerrius was involved in a motor vehicle accident on November 13th, 2009 in Troup County Georgia. Vonderrius was stopped waiting for a school bus to load children when he was struck from behind from a vehicle which forced his vehicle into the vehicle in front of him.
After this collision, Vonderrius required medical attention. He was transported via ambulance to the emergency room of West Georgia Medical Center. Vonderrius presented with complaints of pain in neck and chest. At the Emergency Room he was examined by the emergency room physician and was diagnosed as having chest wall contusion. Vonderrius was given prescriptions for the sustained injuries.
Upon discharge, Vonderrius was instructed to rest and take prescribed medications and advised to seek follow up medical care for the injuries sustained. Vonderrius continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries. Following the emergency room physician's advice, Vonderrius sought further medical care. Vonderrius was seen by Dr. Steven Cosper of Cosper Chiropractic Clinic.
Vonderrius had continued to suffer from neck and back pain. Dr. Cosper found that Vonderrius had reduced range of motion in his neck and back. He prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat his symptoms. The goal of this physical therapy was to increase the range of motion, decrease pain, and aid the muscles and ligaments in healing. Once he was feeling better, we settled his claim against USAA.
