Troup County Passenger is Hurt After Driver Falls Asleep While Driving

Ronnie  was involved in a motor vehicle accident on January 18^th, 2011 in Troup County Georgia. He was a passenger in a vehicle that slammed into a light pole and flipped on its side after the driver of the vehicle fell asleep. After this collision, he required medical attention and was transported via ambulance to the emergency room of West Georgia Medical Center.  At the Emergency Room, he was examined by the emergency room physician and diagnosed as having cervical and lumbar sprains.  Ronnie was given prescriptions for the sustained injuries. Upon discharge, Ronnie was instructed to rest and to take the prescribed medications and to seek follow up medical care for the injuries sustained.  Following the emergency room physician's advice, he sought further medical care by Dr. Steven Cosper of Cosper Chiropractic Clinic.  He had continued to suffer from neck and back pain and was diagnosed him with multiple spinal sprains/strains. Dr. Steven Cosper found that Ronnie had reduced range of motion in his neck and back and prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat his symptoms. Once he was feeling better, we settled the claim against State Farm Insurance.
