Two Endure Injuries in Clayton - State Farm Pays

Alejandrina and Ruth Calzada were both involved in a motor vehicle accident on September 8, 2009 in Clayton County. After this collision, both Alejandrina and Ruth required medical attention. Alejandrina was seen by the Advanced Medical Clinic as she suffered from back and chest pain. Advanced Medical diagnosed her with cervical sprain/strain, thoracic sprain/strain, lumbar sprain/strain, and rib sprain/strain. Further, Alejandrina was also diagnosed with reduced range of motion thereby requiring physical therapy. She continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries with pain in her abdomen and with muscle spasms. She was given prescriptions for the sustained injuries and advised to seek follow up medical care for the injuries sustained.

Ruth Calzada was also injured in the motor vehicle accident and she, too, sought treatment from Advanced Medical Clinic. Ruth presented with mid-low back and neck pain. Advanced Medical Clinic diagnosed her with thoracic sprain/strain, lumbar sprain/strain, and hypertension-hyperflexion injury. Additionally the clinic found that Ruth had reduced range of motion and recommended a conservative program of physical therapy to treat her symptoms.

Once both Alejandrina and Ruth regained strength and began to feel better, we were able to settle the claim against State Farm Insurance.
