Two Involved in Motor Vehicle Incident in Baldwin County

Valerie Jones and Kirie Ryan were involved in a motor vehicle accident on March 19, 2010 in Baldwin County. After the collision, Valerie required medical attention and was transported to the emergency room of Putnam General Hospital where she presented with complaints of pain in her head, neck, back, and right leg. She was diagnosed as having neck and lumbar strains. Valerie was given prescriptions for the injuries she sustained and was also advised to seek follow-up medical care. She continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries and sought further medical care. Valerie was seen by Dr. Nolan Stephens of Healing Hands Chiropractor. Upon evaluation, Dr. Stephens referred Valerie to Dr. Harvey Jones for further treatment. Dr. Jones found that Valerie had complaints of pain in her head, back, neck, shoulder, and leg. Further, he diagnosed a reduced range of motion in her neck and back. Dr. Harvey Jones prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat all her symptoms.

Kirie Ryan was also injured in the accident. After the wreck, Kirie sought treatment from Dr. Nolan Stephens of Healing Hands Chiropractic. She suffered from low back pain and headaches. Dr. Stephens diagnosed her with the following:  lumbar sprain/strain, cervical subluxations, sacrum subluxations, and lumbar subluxations. In addition, Dr. Stephens found that Kirie had reduced range of motion in her back and neck. He prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy.

As Valerie and Kirie began to feel better, we were able to settle the claim against Travelers Insurance.
