Can I have a brain injury if I did not stay at the hospital?

 

A: Many times when somebody loses consciousness for a brief amount of time or even sometimes as long as 30 minutes medical personnel will sometimes send the person home. They will diagnose them as having a possible or probable concussion.  Family members are instructed to stay with the person for a full 24 hours and wake them every 2 hours.  This does not mean that you do not have a brain injury.
