What are the four classifications of a brain injury?

 

A: Brain injuries can be classified as mild, moderate, severe, and catastrophic.  The term mild is used to describe the medical aspects of the problem. The end result of a mild brain injury can be prominent. Mild brain injuries are the most common of all types of brain injuries.  Medical personnel will diagnose based on the type and severity of the injury to the brain.
