A: Many times after one has suffered from a brain injury, they will have many psychological symptoms and injuries. PTSD or depression is common.  Many people suffer from sadness, despair and also a lack interest in prior activities.  Sometimes this is a result of no longer being able to complete daily activities because of the inability to do multiple step process simply the brain injury.  The low points in ones emotions can often lead to rage or anger.  Many times a head injury will be overlooked because people have depression and anger.  Other times family and friends will not understand why the person is different.  A diagnosis of a brain injury can actually be beneficial because people can be more understanding and realize what is going on.
