A Blown Tire is To Blame for a Fatal Atlanta Highway Accident

Posted on Oct 27, 2011

The Atlanta car crash occurred on Saturday, October 8th at about 8:30 p.m. 25-year-old Anoa Sulaiman was headed west in the far right lane of I-20 near I-285 North. Her right rear tire blew out and caused her vehicle, a 1995 Lexus GS300, to swerve. The Lexus crashed into a 2003 Ford Expedition.

A passenger in the Expedition, 27-year-old Christopher Saladrigas, was ejected from the vehicle. He died at the scene.

No charges have been filed and the Atlanta auto accident remains under investigation.

Each year, more than 400 Americans lose their lives in car accidents caused by failed tires. Some of these accidents are due to poor maintenance, but many failed tire crashes occur because of manufacturing and design flaws. Who is to blame?

An experienced Atlanta car crash attorney can determine who is responsible for your crash. Contact the Law Offices of Shane Smith to learn more.
