Daniel Seckinger, a Gwinnett County school board member whose district includes part of the Berkmar cluster, is hospitalized at Gwinnett Medical Center after a motorcycle accident Saturday, according to a published report.

Seckinger told the Gwinnett Daily Post that he is out of intensive care but still in some pain. He reportedly suffered several broken bones and said he may be going in for surgery over the next 48 hours.

Seckinger, a Buford resident, represents all or part of the Berkmar, Collins Hill, Dacula, Lanier, Mill Creek, Mountain View, North Gwinnett, and Peachtree Ridge school clusters, according to the GCPS website.
