Twenty-one-year-old Danielle Holly was travelling with her husband on I-285. They had been recently married and were looking forward to spending their lives together. Unfortunately, a reckless tractor-trailer driver ended their dreams.
The fatal Atlanta truck accident occurred on Easter Sunday, April 24 on I-285 near Martin Luther King Boulevard. A semi-truck was changing lanes and hit Mrs. Holly's Nissan Sentra. Her vehicle spun out of control and hit a guard rail; then it was hit by another 18-wheeler. The Nissan flipped and landed on its side.
Mrs. Holly died at the scene. Her husband sustained multiple injuries and was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was arrested and charged with second degree vehicular homicide and improper lane change. He is being held at Fulton County Jail.
The Atlanta truck accident attorneys at Shane Smith Law offer our condolences to Mrs. Holly's family.
