Two teenage boys have sustained injuries after crashing into a pick-up truck in Logansville, Georgia. One is seriously injured.
The Gwinnett County car accident occurred at about 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 23 at the intersection of Brand and Oak Grove roads in Loganville. An 18-year-old driver and his 16-year-old brother were stopped at the intersection. Traffic was backed up, and someone motioned to the 18-year-old driver that he should turn. The driver did turn and ended up in the path of a pick-up truck.
The driver and brother were injured in the Logansville car crash. They were both transported to Gwinnett Medical Center where the 16-year-old was listed in serious condition.
The driver of the pick-up truck sustained only minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.
The 18-year-old driver was charged with failure to yield. No other charges are expected.
No names have been released at this time.
