An 18-year-old driver has been charged with misdemeanor vehicular homicide and failure to maintain lane in connection with a March 19 accident that claimed the life of a Conyers woman.

According to a report by the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office, Clarke was traveling west on Tucker Mill Road at about 5 p.m., approaching Springside Court when his 1996 Honda Accord crossed the center line and struck Goldson's 1999 Honda Civic head-on.

Clarke and Goldson, along with a 13-year-old passenger in Goldson's vehicle, were transported to Atlanta area hospitals for treatment. A 31-year-old passenger in Clark's vehicle was not injured. According to the Sheriff's Office, Goldson died of her injuries several hours later.
