Royal Animal Refuge

No animal should live in fear, be abused or neglected. Royal Animal Refuge helps promote animal welfare and responsible pet ownership, while finding homes for unwanted pets.

When you adopt from a shelter, you save the life of a pet who may have come from a very bad place.

Although Royal Animal Refuge is a small shelter they are saving thousands of lives and getting them to their forever homes.

Real Life Center

We all fall on hard times during life, during those times you might need a little help to get you back on your feet.

Real Life Center seeks to offer a “hand up” rather than a “handout”. They offer a one-year program designed to help families get back on their feet and to encourage them to set goal that will help promote long-term change.

The Real Life Center offers food, clothes, household items, seasonal and holiday programs, financial counseling, educational classes, resume assistance, networking and senior programs to help families get back on their feet.

Hurricane Ida Relief

The effects of Hurricane Ida were devastating to so many. This is the time where we need to pull together and help out the families and people who lost so much.

We at Shane Smith Law truly believe that we should help the less fortunate.

Last week the firm purchased over a thousand personal items and our COO Andrew Waits personally flew them to New Orleans in the firm’s airplane! Items included toothbrushes, toothpaste, baby wipes, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, soap, Powerade, ibuprofen, acetaminophen, antibiotic cream, band aids, hand sanitizer, gloves, socks, bug spray and more.

We were so fortunate that the store workers were very helpful and they wanted to help too! Two of the store’s employees donated their own money to buy more needed items for Mr. Waits to take down.

Giving back to those in need is so worthwhile! It was a great day being able to help so many!
