ACCG Forced to Settle Rear End Collision by Emergency Vehicle

Deborah Ellison was involved in a rear end automobile accident on the 3rd of May, 2009 in Troup County as she traveled west on Lafayette Parkway. She stopped for an approaching emergency vehicle, but the emergency vehicle was unable to stop and struck her vehicle from behind. After this collision, Deborah required medical attention and was transported via ambulance to the emergency room of West Georgia Medical Center. Deborah presented with complaints of pain in her mid back. Upon examination, she was diagnosed with a contusion and other low back injuries. Deborah was given prescriptions for the sustained injuries and was also advised to seek follow-up medical care. She sought treatment from Dr. Cosper of Cosper Chiropractic who diagnosed her with cervical, thoracic, and lumbar sprains/strains. Additionally, Dr. Cosper found Deborah had reduced range of motion in both her neck and back and he prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat those symptoms.
