Atlanta Rear End Collision Settles

DH was involved in motor vehicle accident on June 3, 2011 in Fulton County, Georgia when another vehicle backed into her in a parking lot. After this collision my client, DH required medical attention.    At the Emergency Room, the emergency room physician examined her.  DH presented with complaints of pain in her wrist. Upon discharge, she was instructed to rest and to take the prescribed medications.  DH was also advised to seek follow up medical care for the injuries sustained.  DH continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries.  Following the emergency room physician's advice, she sought further medical care.  Dr. Brian Veal of Georgia Injury Centers of Atlanta saw DH.  She had continued to suffer from pain in her neck, back, and wrist.  Dr. Veal diagnosed her with multiple sprains and muscle spasms. She was prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat her symptoms.  The goal of this physical therapy was to increase the range of motion, decrease pain, and aid the muscles and ligaments in healing. Dr. Khaled Mohamed of Supporting Your Daily Health also saw DH.  She had continued to suffer from pain in her back and wrist.  Dr. Mohamed diagnosed her with lumbar stiffness, wrist pain, rotator cuff syndrome, and limb pain. She was given prescriptions for the sustained injuries. The claim was settled against Assurance America once DH completed her treatment.
