Cobb County Accident Settles Against Safeway Insurance

MH was involved in motor vehicle accident on February 2, 2011 in Cobb County, Georgia when another vehicle collided with the right front corner of MH’s vehicle. She was transported via ambulance to the emergency room of Wellstar Kennestone. At the Emergency Room, the emergency room physician examined her.  MH presented with complaints of pain in his hip and back. She was diagnosed with multiple strains. Upon discharge, MH was instructed to rest and to take the prescribed medications.  She was also advised to seek follow up medical care for the injuries sustained.  MH continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries.  Following the emergency room physician's advice, she sought further medical care.  Dr. Scott Perlman of A&J Family Spine and Wellness Center saw MH.  She had continued to suffer from neck pain and back pain.  Dr. Perlman diagnosed her with cervical and lumbar pain. Dr. Perlman found that MH had reduced range of motion in her neck and back. She was prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat her symptoms. The claim was settled against Safeway Insurance once MH completed her treatment.
