Coweta County Rear-End Accident Settles

Teddrick was involved in a motor vehicle accident on March 11, 2011 in Coweta County Georgia. Teddrick was a passenger in a vehicle that was attempting to make a left turn when another vehicle came from behind and slammed into them. After the collision, Teddrick needed medical attention. He was transported via ambulance to the emergency room of Piedmont Newnan Hospital where he was diagnosed as having headaches. Teddrick was given prescriptions for the sustained injuries. Upon discharge, he was instructed to rest and to take the prescribed medications. He was also advised to seek follow up medical care for the injuries sustained. Dr. Cleland Child of Papp Clinic then saw Teddrick. He had continues to suffer from pain in his head and leg. He was diagnosed with a concussion and knee contusion. Dr. Matthew Davis of Crossroad Chiropractic also saw him. Dr. Davis diagnosed him with headache, cervicalgia, thoracalgia, knee leg/pain, and multiple spinal segmental dysfunctions. Dr. Davis found that he had reduced range of motion in his neck and back. He was prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat symptoms. After that, Dr. Jack Powell of Georgia Bone and Orthopedic saw Teddrick. He continued to suffer from knee pain. Dr. Powell advised him to continue taking the prescribed medications and to use a knee brace. Once he was finished treating, we settled the claim against Geico Insurance.
