Lamar County Accident Sends Local Georgia Man to ER

Roger was involved in a motor vehicle accident on May 22nd, 2010 in Lamar County Georgia. He was traveling north bound on Veterans Parkway when another vehicle crossed over two lanes in front that caused the collision. After this incident, Roger required medical attention and was examined by the emergency room physician.  He presented with complaints of pain in left shoulder, and was diagnosed as having left shoulder contusion and strain. Roger sought further medical care with Dr. Alorton of Resurgens Orthopaedics‑Douglasville.  He had continued to suffer from left shoulder pain and was diagnosed with a partial full-thickness re-tear of supraspinatus tendon with retraction. Dr. Albritton found that Roger had reduced range of motion in his shoulder and after reviewing the MRIs taken at Spalding Regional, Dr. Albritton advised him that his best option was to follow up with Orthopaedic South Surgical Center for left shoulder arthroscopic rotator cuff re-repair surgery. He also prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat his symptoms after the procedure. After his surgery, he was seen by Dr. Slade of Spalding Regional Medical Center for physical therapy of his left shoulder.  Dr. Slade found that he had reduced range of motion in his shoulder. She also prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat his symptoms after the surgery. Once Roger was feeling better, Attorney Shane Smith settled the claim against Geico and Hartford Insurance Companies.
