Muscogee County Side Impact Crash Settles

LT was involved in motor vehicle accident on December 15, 2010 in Muscogee County, Georgia when another struck the driver’s side. After this, LT required medical attention. LT presented with complaints of pain in her left wrist.  She was diagnosed as having left wrist sprain.  LT was given prescriptions for the sustained injuries. Upon discharge, LT was instructed to rest and to take the prescribed medications.  LT was also advised to seek follow up medical care for the injuries sustained.  LT continued to suffer pain from the sustained injuries.  Following the emergency room physician's advice, LT sought further medical care.  South Dr. Brad Brunet of Atlanta Medical Rehabilitation‑Columbus saw LT.  LT had continued to suffer from headaches, neck pain, and back pain.  Dr. Brunet found that LT had reduced range of motion in her neck and back. He prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy to treat her symptoms.  The goal of this physical therapy was to increase the range of motion, decrease pain, and aid the muscles and ligaments in healing.  The claim was settled against Sedgwick CMS once LT completed her treatment.
