Troup County Man seriously injured after car slammed into tree

A Troup County man was seriously injured after the car he was traveling in slammed into a tree. Rary was a passenger in a vehicle that was traveling north on GA 14 when the driver swerved to aviod a deer in the road causing the vehicle to go into a ditch and hit a tree. Rary required medical attention and was transported via ambulance to the emergency room of West Georgia Medical Center. There he was diagnosed as having a possible dislocation of the patella. He was given prescriptions and told to follow up medical care with the injuries sustained. He then went to see Dr. Steve Cosper of Cosper Chiropratic Clinic. Dr. Cosper found that Rary had reduced range of motion in his neck and back and prescribed a conservative program of physical therapy. Lastly, Rary was seen by Dr. Joon Whee of Ortho-Neuro Center where he was diagnosed with knee contusion/strain. He obtained a fair amount of medical bills because of this accident. After treatment was complete, Attorney Shane Smith was able to settle the claim against the insurance company.
