Education and Legal Background

Ashley earned her undergraduate degree in political science from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. While there, she demonstrated leadership both academically and athletically, serving as captain of the women’s Track and Field team and helping lead the team to its first conference championship.

She went on to earn her law degree from Penn State Law School, where she distinguished herself through her involvement in advocacy and international competition. Ashley was selected to participate in the prestigious William C. Vis Moot Court Competition in Vienna, Austria, where her team won the competition among more than 370 teams worldwide.

Advocacy and Service

During law school, Ashley was deeply involved in supporting veterans and service members. She worked with the Veterans and Servicemembers Clinic, assisting individuals with legal needs, and co-founded the Military Law Caucus, an organization dedicated to raising awareness and support for veterans.
