Samantha Gordon is a personal injury attorney who brings both depth of experience and genuine compassion to her advocacy on behalf of injured individuals and families. Her practice is rooted in integrity, accountability, and a relentless commitment to protecting clients during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Samantha approaches each case with precision and perspective, ensuring her clients feel heard, supported, and confident that their rights are being vigorously defended.
Samantha’s decision to practice law, and ultimately to focus her career on personal injury, is deeply personal. In 2024, she lost her father as the result of a car accident he did not cause. Experiencing that kind of sudden and life-altering loss fundamentally reshaped how she views injury, accountability, and justice. It gave her a firsthand understanding of how overwhelming the aftermath of a serious accident can be, not only emotionally, but financially and logistically as well. That experience instilled in her a deep sense of compassion for individuals and families thrust into crisis, along with the determination to fight for those who have been harmed through no fault of their own. Today, she carries that perspective into every case she handles, advocating with urgency, empathy, and resolve.
Professionally, Samantha offers a broad and well-rounded legal foundation that strengthens her personal injury practice. Over the past eight years, she has practiced in multiple areas of law, developing a diverse skill set that includes litigation strategy, negotiation, client advocacy, and complex problem-solving. Each phase of her career sharpened her ability to evaluate cases from multiple angles and anticipate challenges before they arise. This experience allows her to approach personal injury cases strategically, balancing legal precision with a clear understanding of the human impact behind every claim. She does not view cases in isolation, but instead evaluates the full legal and personal context to pursue outcomes that truly serve her clients’ interests.
At the core of Samantha’s approach is a belief that tenacity is the most important quality a personal injury attorney can possess. Injury cases are rarely straightforward and often involve resistance from insurance companies that are focused on minimizing payouts rather than ensuring fairness. Samantha understands that insurers frequently rely on delay, pressure, and fatigue, expecting injured individuals to settle for less than they deserve. She counters those tactics through persistent, focused advocacy. When obstacles arise, she continues pushing forward, holding opposing parties accountable and refusing to back down when her clients are treated unfairly. Her clients know they have an attorney who will stay the course and fight for what is right.
Samantha is also committed to providing informed and current legal guidance. She regularly participates in continuing legal education programs and remains engaged with developments in personal injury law to ensure her advice reflects the most up-to-date standards and strategies. This ongoing commitment allows her to deliver representation that is both knowledgeable and effective, while adapting to changes that may impact her clients’ cases.
A central component of Samantha’s practice philosophy is early advocacy. She strongly advises injured individuals to speak with an attorney before engaging with insurance companies. Insurance adjusters are trained to protect corporate interests, not the interests of injured claimants. By involving counsel early, clients are better positioned to avoid common pitfalls, receive appropriate medical guidance, and protect the integrity of their claims. Samantha views early representation as a critical step in safeguarding both a client’s recovery and their long-term outcome.
What Samantha finds most rewarding about personal injury law is helping clients regain stability when they feel overwhelmed and uncertain about what comes next. Many individuals are unfamiliar with their legal rights and unsure how to navigate the aftermath of an accident. Being able to guide clients through that process, advocate on their behalf, and help them move forward physically and financially is what continues to motivate her work. Her goal is for every client to feel confident that their story matters and that someone is fully invested in protecting their future. She believes that trust is the foundation of effective representation and works intentionally to build that trust throughout the legal process.
Samantha’s values align closely with the firm’s client-centered approach to personal injury law. Integrity guides how she practices, from honest communication and realistic expectations to doing what is right even when it is difficult. Accountability shapes how she approaches each case, recognizing the responsibility that comes with representing clients during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Compassion remains at the heart of her work. Having personally experienced loss caused by a serious accident, she understands the emotional weight clients carry and strives to ensure they feel respected, supported, and protected from start to finish.
In addition to her legal practice, Samantha is deeply committed to professional leadership and community service. She is actively involved with the North Carolina Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Foundation. Since 2018, she has served as a lead volunteer attorney for the North Carolina Bar Foundation’s Wills for Heroes program, providing free estate planning documents to first responders across the state. She has held numerous leadership roles within the North Carolina Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, including co-chair of the Pro Bono Committee and Division Director of the Civil Engagement and Pro Bono Committees. She currently serves as the Administrative Division Director of the Young Lawyers Division. Samantha also sits on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Bar Foundation and serves on its Development Committee. Her dedication to service has been recognized through the North Carolina Bar Association’s 2022 Younger Lawyer Pro Bono Service Award, membership in the North Carolina Bar Pro Bono Honor Society since 2019, and participation in the Mecklenburg County Bar Association Bar Leadership Institute.
Outside of the office, Samantha lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her husband and their three dogs: Bentley, a spirited Havanese; Remington, a rambunctious coonhound; and Winchester, a lovable bernedoodle. In her free time, she enjoys walking outdoors, spending time at the dog park, reading crime mysteries, watching crime documentaries, and baking, especially sourdough. Her weekends often include trips to the farmers market, outdoor activities, cooking, baking, and time to recharge, allowing her to bring focus and energy to her clients each week.
