Honoring a Local Hero in Coweta County
At Shane Smith Law, giving back to the community is part of who we are.
Through our Give Back to Heroes contest, a local citizen nominated Jason Ross, a deputy with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office, after he rescued a woman from a burning vehicle while on duty.
After reviewing all nominations, Deputy Ross was selected as this year’s community hero. Our team had the honor of recognizing him in person and presenting him with a 42-inch television as a small thank-you for an extraordinary act of service.
Representatives from the Sheriff’s Office shared that while this rescue stood out, Deputy Ross consistently demonstrates the same dedication and professionalism every day on the job.
We are grateful for Deputy Jason Ross and for all first responders who put themselves in harm’s way to protect others. Thank you for your service to our community.
