Connor Tilson

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Baltimore, Maryland, Connor Tilson, your dedicated attorney at Shane Smith Law, brings a unique blend of passion and competitiveness to the realm of personal injury law.

Connor's journey into the legal profession was not a sudden epiphany but a series of moments that reinforced his natural inclination to do what's right and extend a helping hand. Growing up with a love for sports, he recognized the parallel between the competitive edge on the field and the tenacity required in legal advocacy. Middle school and high school laid the foundation for a career fueled by a commitment to justice.

During his undergraduate years at the University of South Carolina, where he majored in sport management and pre-law, Connor discovered his passion for negotiation and business law. The combination of his sports background and legal studies laid the foundation for his future in personal injury law.

Connor attended the University of Maryland in Baltimore for law school, returning to his hometown. His favorite classes included contracts and negotiations, where he honed his skills in advocating for clients and navigating complex legal situations. Following law school, he took the North Carolina bar exam, choosing to establish his roots in Charlotte, a decision influenced by the allure of the city and the proximity to family.

Connor's values are deeply rooted in transparency, open communication, and a genuine commitment to his clients' well-being. Drawing parallels between his earlier interest in sports management and personal injury law, he understands the importance of fiercely advocating for his clients, much like negotiating on behalf of athletes for the best deals.

Outside the office, Connor is a dynamic and adaptable individual. A South Carolina Gamecock football enthusiast, he can be found cheering for his team whether at the stadium or in front of the TV. Living a stone's throw away from the Charlotte Hornets' games, he enjoys the convenience of a quick walk to watch his favorite basketball team. His downtime activities vary from decompressing on a hike to hitting the water, be it on a boat or catching waves during surfing trips to Charleston with his brother.

In the spirit of "help me help you," Connor encourages his clients to maintain an open line of communication from the early stages of their cases. His proactive approach ensures that potential issues are addressed promptly, avoiding unnecessary complications. With a background rooted in competitive sports and a genuine commitment to his clients, Connor Tilson stands as a reliable and dedicated advocate for justice at Shane Smith Law.
