Georgia’s Driving Under the Influence Laws are complex. Georgia DUI injury lawyer Shane Smith can sort through the intermingled laws that potentially create complications in a DUI case.
A 22-year-old man was arrested for DUI in another state after police found him asleep behind the wheel with his motor running. He failed field sobriety tests and his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was 0.198 and 0.204, more than twice the legal limit.
Police did an inventory of the car before it was towed and found a glass pipe with marijuana residue and marijuana in the roof sunglass holder.
The man was also charged with marijuana possession and drug equipment possession.
